Stock-ups @ Ultra (heck, just price-match)

Potential stock-up items at Ultra starting Thursday.  I’m sure there are plenty of other items to consider, but if it’s not a great price, I won’t bother – — it’s always cheaper to shop your stockpile, right?  My recommendation would be to price match Walmart for those items requiring Buy “X” to get the discount because Walmart doesn’t require that purchase – you get the discount from item one.  This advice goes across all lines except those items using expired coupons – Ultra takes them back 30 days, but Walmart does not.

Era laundry detergent, 50 oz bottles are $1.88, limit 2. Use the $2/2 coupon from 9/15 rp for the cheapest I’ve seen for Era in … a very long time.

Hot Pockets are 6/$10, limit 6. Use the $1/2 coupon from 7/28 rp2 and pay $1.17 a box. This isn’t the healthiest food you can consume, but the ham and cheese is yum.

There’s a Buy 6 Save Instantly, but no idea of how much comes off. Macaroni & Cheese is only 38¢ after savings.  Miracle Whip is $2.38; use the $1 coupon from 8/25 rp (expired) for cheap MW.  Gevalia is $5.88; use the $1.50 from 10/6 S1.

Stouffers individual meals are 5/$10; use the $1/2 from 9/08 rp.

BOCA burgers are $2.98.  Use this $1.00 off one package of any BOCA Meatless Product.  These don’t really get much cheaper anywhere, frankly.

FREE Dove deodorant with the 98¢ sale price and the $1/1 and $2/2 coupons in 9/29 rp.  Rachel says that this coupon is for the more expensive deodorants – that the sale one is the plain vanilla, basic edition.  I’ll check it out tomorrow.

  1. I find some of my best savings are on produce–price match the low frills grocery stores – here in Houston we
call them the bodega grocery stores–print out the ad and
you are good to go. I also price match the 1 or 2 good deals in Randall’s(your Dom’s )– they shuttered a lot
of Randall’s in their attempt to sell the chain. This cuts my shopping down to Kroger and a short schlepp down
the road to a super Walmart.
