The $40 off $40+ Target RedCard promotion has returned and now runs through 5/28.  Apply online and you’ll get an account number (write it down) so you can shop while waiting for the plastic card and $40 coupon.  Coupon promotion is only available online.  Choose either debit or credit card.  This promotion is valid only for new accounts, but if you haven’t used your card in some time, it might have been closed automatically and you’ll qualify.
