Reminder: Home Run Inn dock sale is this Friday (pizzas under $3!)

Do the math – you will never find HRI pizzas for under $3 even with sales and coupons. And stomachs can’t tell the difference between thrift and retail.

Thrift pizzas are cosmetically defective (pepperoni or sausage in wrong spots, etc.), but otherwise exactly the same as retail, bulk pizzas are the pretty boys you find in grocery freezers.  I have to admit these are very tasty pizzas.

These Dock Sales are only held a couple of times a year, so if HRI is your fave, stock up now.  Location is easily accessible (link to Google Maps).

DiGiorno pizza deal @ Target will include free Coke products starting Sunday

Stack this $1/2 Target store coupon with the B2G1 mfr coupon and the 10% off DiGiorno Cartwheel offer.  Use your REDcard and pay 5% less.

Pizza Hut tests pizza by the slice

NEW YORK (AP) — Pizza Hut plans to start offering pizza by the slice for the first time in two test locations this week, as the chain looks to keep pace with trendy competitors offering quick, made-to-order pies.

The chain says the two locations — one in York, Neb. and Pawtucket, R.I. — will open on Tuesday.

A slice will cost between $2 and $3 and take three to four minutes to heat up. They’ll be made with new recipes more in line with the thinner pies sold in the Northeast.  Read more here.

Jewel for cheap CC pizzas

Culinary Circe frozen pizzas are $3.99 through January 12th. There is a 50¢ store coupon on the front page of the new Big Book of Savings.  There will be a $1 manufacturer coupon in the 1/12 rp.  I bought 30 more of the BC Pumpkin Bar mixes for the overage and will return with more coupons and the pizza coupons (since I have 60 days to post-redeem).  If your store is marginal about post-redeeming coupons, then you can either pick up a Sunday paper on Saturday afternoon at any of the dollar stores or Menards, shop on Sunday with your home-delivered Sunday paper or order $1 coupons from Klip2Save, which says they’ll be out in the next morning’s mail.

Either way, a great way to stock up on fantastic pizzas for $2.49 each (these are probably our favorite frozen pizza).

$2 Home Run Inn coupon & frozen club

`Remember that Fight Hunger Charity Dock Sale Home Run Inn held at corporate last December?  Basically, you brought in ten cans and got a case of pizzas, limit two cases.  A few of us signed up for email news and alerts because Home Run Inn has blow-out sales a couple of times a year and hey, who wouldn’t want these!?

Never got even one email, so called corporate, only to be told that their latest event had been held in September.  So I made sure to get signed up again with their MVP Club and got this $2 coupon in my email.  Sign up and you’ll be automatically entered to win a year’s worth of pizza (somehow I think my year would involve more pizza than their year…)
