Got a PetCo email for a free 4 lb bag of Wild Frontier, so I immediately printed out two and took the second to PetSmart, since they match competitors’ coupons. This grain-free stuff is over $20 a bag.
Periodically PetSmart sends out e-coupons. And even though these store coupons can be combined with manufacturer coupons, I’m rather stocked up on pet food so picked up a few clearance jackets – the dogs dress better than me…which isn’t that great a stretch. If you’re not a PetPerks member, you really should sign up!
Remember, the high tax is gonna bite you in the butt…and no, this is not all for me – I’m the crazy couponer, not crazy cat lady!
If you’re looking for dog and cat food brands that don’t have current coupons, order online today ’cause shipping is FREE with NO MINIMUM. If you’re gonna use the BOGO Purina ONE/Beyond coupons from 11/19 S, you have one day only, Black Friday. On the plus side, I don’t think PetSmart will be a mad house that day!
Well it sure looks like signing up for PetSmart emails is paying off big time! Last week I got six Hill’s Science Diet bags and today I picked up two bags of Instinct ($22.99 each!) using the email coupon I got today! You must be a member of the PetSmart loyalty program, so if you’re not a member, do that first at PetSmart.com, then sign up for emails. Petco and PetsuppliesPlus normally take competitors’ coupons, so even more free food for your dogs and cats.
This PetSmart coupon came via email. Note that the wording says limit one per customer per transaction. I was able to get five at one PetSmart and one at a PetsuppliesPlus, which honors other store’s coupons, although I don’t know how receptive your local store might be. Didn’t try Petco, either, which is supposed to follow the same policy as long as you have the loyalty cards for each store. Enjoy!
Like I told Pita, the humans get the grass-fed organic beef and the bed warmers get the Hills Science Diet. A good day for all!
Petco has a coupon for a Free 4-5 lb bag of Nutro dry dog food on their site; you must be a Petco PALS member to use. I used it at my local Petsmart (they take competitor coupons) since it’s closer and I’m lazy. You’ll need a PetSmart PetPerk loyalty card. PetSupplies Ltd used to take competitor coupons; haven’t shopped there in quite some time and their site sucks donkey balls.
Since it’s a store coupon, I paid no sales tax.
Not free, but a decent kitty deal. Purina Beyond cat food is B1G1 50% off, so use the $5 coupon in 3/26 rp. My subtotal was $5.73 for both bags.
PetSmart has a BOGO sale on Purina Bella dry food and a B2G2 on the wet; use the $3 dry food coupon and the BOGO wet food coupon, both in 3/12 S and pay pretty much tax. I bought 8 bags of dry and 16 wet and paid $3.11, almost all high tax.
